Welcome to the Enuresis Research & Development Center
Home of the highly successful "In Control" bedwetting control program that has permanently ended bedwetting for thousands of families.
E.R.D.C.'s bedwetting treatment system is based on global learning strategies. Once translated into the proper language, any child, adolescent, or adult can use it and learn to wake up and be dry, no matter where in our world they live.
We have received many compliments from people who have visited our site and found the information and help they needed. They told us it was the most informative and helpful web site they had seen, and many of them printed it to pass it on to others who didn't have internet access. We encourage you to do the same, and we hope that the free information and advice will help you to correct the sleep disorder and permanently end bedwetting.
Before you spend thousands of dollars on "intensive" counselor/physician-run programs or ineffective medications; before you spend hundreds more dollars on "managing" bedwetting (linens, laundry, ruined mattresses) with the hope that your child will "grow out of it;" use our innovative and simple system. It is designed to help YOU guide your child through proven, effective exercises that will help correct the sleeping/ waking problem that is the true cause in 99% of the cases. Waiting won't help the sleep problem. Children who do outgrow bedwetting will still suffer from the effects of not getting normal sleep.

A Message from our Director The deep sadness you feel when your child wakes up in a wet bed is nothing compared to the devastating embarrassment and sense of failure that he or she experiences. For the persistent enuretic (bedwetter) who wets every night, this emotion is intensified as the bedwetting continues in spite of many unsuccessful attempts to find a "cure." Feelings of despair and hopelessness are soon accompanied by a pervasive fear that a solution will never be found. The fear soon becomes paramount in their mind. The sporadic (occasional) bedwetter experiences a roller coaster of emotions – they know what it feels like to succeed and have a dry bed for a few nights, or a week, or even a month or longer. Then they are smashed by defeat when the bed is wet once more. This cycle of on-again, off-again can continue indefinitely. No matter how supportive you are in the face of these defeats, your child still suffers deeply from the effects of failing to achieve their most important goal. We have helped many children, adolescent and adult enuretics finally overcome this devastating pattern, and every one of them has expressed their heartfelt wish that they had found us years ago. The best time to start is right now! A child who "grows out of bedwetting" can still suffer from the other serious side effects of Arousal Dysfunction. |
